Riding For Rescue (RFR) is a nonprofit dedicated to helping provide retired racehorses the opportunity to live the remainder of their lives in a loving and caring environment. Currently, the racing industry does not adopt a no-kill policy when their thoroughbred horse's economic life is exhausted. Horses are routinely abandoned or euthanized. The sad fate of these beautiful horses truly belongs to all of us, until this industry adopts a 100% care for life program for all of their thoroughbreds.

RFR's funding supports thoroughbred rescue operations, rehabilitation, retraining, adoption, and follow on care. Funds also support therapeutic riding facilities, emergency equine relief programs, young rider equestrian clinics and competitions, as well as veterinarian scholarships and research.
